  20. Are you sure?  I remember (vaguley) reading in Amiga Format or CU Amiga, AGES 
  21. AGO, that using the 1.3 ROM for degrading (or something) was ok - it might 
  22. have been Commodore UK who originally said so?

  24. And what is copying a 1.3 rom going to do to Amiga sales?  I hardly expect 
  25. this to affect Amiga1200/4000s..... ;)  Perhaps someone should find-out from 
  26. Amiga Technologies what their stance is?  I've got no idea what address & 
  27. who to ask is.

  29. If anything, degrading the machine to 1.3 will allow MORE people to buy & use 
  30. old (nostalgic?) games/software/etc..  Emulating 1.3 is still very useful in 
  31. this day & age - the ZeeWolf 2 demo, for instance, will not run on my 
  32. A1200/`030 any other way at all.

  34. Can you still BUY a kickstart 1.3 rom?  Seems unlikely..  If so, what do they 
  35. cost?
